Vision and Hearing Screenings

In the month of September and October we will be doing Vision and Hearing screenings which will be preformed in the Health Office, according to recommendations from the Colorado Department of Education.  Screenings will be preformed for new students to our schools and also grades K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th.
If your child wears glasses or contacts PLEASE make sure that they wear them for this screening.  Parent/guardians will be be notified via email of findings outside of the normal range.  Middle and High School screenings will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  Elementary screenings will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 and September 25, 2018.  Re-screening/Makeup screenings will take place Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  Thank you for your help and cooperation.

Immunizations are an important part of your child/children's health care and Colorado law requires that children attending child care, preschool, and k-12 school be vaccinated to prevent vaccine preventable disease. Please see the Colorado State's Website for requirements for immunizations and necessary paperwork to be completed by your health care professional and provided to the school with your registration and throughout your child/children's education.
